The Christchurch Star newspaper was a local daily paper which ran from 1868-1990 and since then has run as a free paper, currently produced once a week.

All were at Burwood Park. One of the basketball shots is from a 1975 match against Mairehau. Another is from a workout at Mairehau High School.
