Biography

The Little River Road Board, established in 1864, become the Wairewa County Council in 1910. Wairewa County Council amalgamated with Lyttelton Borough Council, Akaroa County Council and Mt Herbert County Council to become the Banks Peninsula District Council in 1989. The Banks Peninsula District Council then amalgamated with Christchurch City Council in 2006.
