Biography
In 1989 the Lyttelton Borough Council, Mt Herbert, Wairewa and Akaroa County Councils merged to become Banks Peninsula District Council.
The Lyttelton Mt Herbert Community Board was established when the Banks Peninsula District Council was formed in 1989.
In 2006 the Banks Peninsula District Council merged with Christchurch City Council.
