Biography

The City Design Unit was part of the Operations Group and included landscape architecture, architectural design, surveying project management as well as civil, traffic, structiral, mechanical, electrical drainage and environmental engineering services. City Design became Technical Services and Design in c.2001.

Photographs of members of the City Design team at Christchurch City Council alongside staff of Fulton Hogan and of the Cement and Concrete Association, as winners of the New Zealand In Situ Paving Award 1996 for the Christchurch City Inner City Tram tracks on Worcester Boulevard. Pictured is Steve Baker (Fulton Hogan); Ron Clarke (City Design); Tim McKaye (Cement and Concrete Association); Eden Husband (Fulton Hogan) and Dave Marsh (City Design).
