Biography

The Papanui Innes Community Board was formed in 2016. Previously the Shirley Papanui Community Board (1989-2016) but after the 2016 local elections and subsequent boundary changes, the Shirley Ward became part of the Innes and Papanui Wards. In 2022 the Papanui Innes Community Board Community Board became the Waipapa Papanui Innes Central Community Board following the local elections, which also included the Central Ward, previously part of the Linwood Central Heathcote Community Board (2016-2022).
