Biography
In 1992, following a restructure of some Christchurch City Council departments, the Building Control Unit became part of a larger Public Health and Safety Unit which remained as part of the Development Group.
In 1996 a larger restructure took place which saw the main Groups of the Council change names. Property related functions including the management of consents moved into the newly created Environmental Services Unit within the Policy Group.
