Biography
The City Works and Planning Department became part of the Development Group as part of a new structure put in place in 1989 following the amalgamation of many surrounding borough councils into Christchurch City Council. The Planning Policy Unit included planners, landscape architect and draughting officers.
This structure changed again in 1991 and planning functions moved to the Planning Policy Unit and the Planning Administration Unit.
