Biography
The Abbatoir, Markets and Reserves Committee was formed from the merging of the Abbatoir and Markets Committee and the Reserves and Cemeteries Committee in 1911. Despite the title management of Council owned cemeteries remained as part of the remit of this committee.
In 1913 this Committee was expanded to include Public Health and was renamed as the Abbatoir, Markets, Reserves and Public Health Committee.
