Biography

Following the brief split of Milk from this committee the Abattoir, Reserves and Markets Committee merged with the Milk Committee to form the Abattoir, Reserves and Milk Committee in 1931. This committee also included markets and cemeteries.

In 1945 the Christchurch Metropolitan Milk Board was established to this became a separate committee and the remaining function were renamed as the Abattoir and Reserves Committee.
