Biography
The Airport and Traffic Committee was established in 1971 from the former Traffic Committee. In 1973 the functions of this committee changes and traffic becomes part of the Works and Traffic Committee and the operations of Christchurch Airport becomes part of the The Airport and Traffic Committee became part of the Public Utilities Committee.
