Scope and Contents
Photographs of staff, offices, vehicles and activities of the Canterbury Automobile Association (AA).
Activities include vehicles being towed and repaired, road signs being installed and vehicles participating in parades.
Featured staff include executives, service officers, controllers and long serving staff such as Elmo Connal, T.W. Milliken and Horace Bush.
Offices include the headquarters of Canterbury AA on Hereford Street near Latimer Square, technical centre on Brougham Street in Sydenham, regional offices in Timaru and of a touring mobile AA office. Also includes photographs of service desks and window displays for AA Canterbury Travel and a late 1990s membership booklet for the AA.
