Children's Homes: Marylands, 1961-1984
Scope and Contents
Photographs of Marylands Boys Home in Middleton, later the Marylands Special School on Nash Road in Halswell, ran by the St John of God order. Staff featured include Brother Timothy Boxall, Brother Kilian, Brother Raymond Garchow and Brother Roger Moloney. Residents are shown doing activities including fruit picking, cleaning, looking after pets, playing on playground equipment and reading in the library. Also includes members of the Marylands Ladies Auxiliary.
