The papers of Richard May Morten includes a scrapbook which has cuttings from illustrated periodicals ca. 1898-1904 on the first 40 pages, chiefly of local interest. There are many photographs of horses, including thoroughbreds. Includes a ledger which has entries from 1861-1865. Some pages of the ledger used as scrapbook have been cut out.

The remaining 6 volumes are United Service Hotel registers. There are a Wages and Time book, 1930-1932, a Bedroom register, 1931-1932, and a Holiday book, 1938-1940. There are also 3 hotel registers, 1973-1976.
