Bridge and Hastings family papers
Scope and Contents
The papers of the Bridge and Hastings families include originals and photocopies. There are seven volumes of newspaper clippings, five mostly New Zealand, one overseas (chiefly Europe, 1888-1902) compiled by Marion Bridge, and one, which includes photographs of early Christchurch, compiled by Rev. G. McKenzie.
Also included is a family travel book (1864-1901/2) (original and photocopied duplicate) and a copy of Family Records by M. Hastings Bridge (one copy donated by Sr Anna, Community of the Sacred Name, 1992).
