Scope and Contents

This club provides and maintains bowling greens and facilities which are available to members and the public. The club was started by E.C. Chegwin in November 1916.

The records consist mainly of minutes along with statements of accounts. Two printed booklets, a history 1916-1966 written for the Golden Jubilee and a fuller history for the Club's 75th anniversary in 1991. Also membership lists, newletters handbooks and other papers.
