Scope and Contents
Typescript of the memoirs of Pearce Dixon titled I Remember them Well written for his family, in 2002. This typescript was produced by his niece Linda Harrison.
The memoirs describe his early life in Avonside, Christchurch, work at Duncan Cotterill & Co. during the great depression, and later with Maling & Co., General Merchant, General Accident Insurance Company, and Smiths City Finance. He served in the New Zealand Army during World War II with the 18th Armoured Regiment 2NZEF.
