Samuel Shrimpton shipboard log

Typescript copy of original shipboard log of Samuel Shrimpton kept on board the Royal Stuart on her voyage from Plymouth to Lyttelton.

Includes a photocopy of an 1867 account made out to Mr. Shrimpton, from the English School, Valparaiso. Includes some Shrimpton family notes. They were a family of needlemakers in Redditch, Worcestershire.

One photograph is taken looking down onto the roof of the burning building. Four of the photographs have the name Sandra Moore written on the back, and the original envelope has "Property of T. Moore" written on it.
