Summit Road Society records

The records of the Summit Road Society include visitors' books for various years and a guide to the coats of arms at the Sign of the Takahe.

The guide to the coats of arms at the Sign of the Takahe was produced by the Society in conjunction with the Christchurch City Council in 1984, the art work and graphics by Karen Macaw. Also included are black and white photocopies of the Guide.

The press clippings of Supreme Court and Court of Appeal case and legal judgements includes a manuscript index at front of volume, and some manuscript notes throughout.

The legal judgments, of which all but one are manuscript, are dated from 1879-1882. One is undated. The clippings are chiefly from the New Zealand mail, with some from the Otago Daily Times.
