John Edwin March papers
The papers of John Edwin March includes a poor quality copy of a typescript memoir titled A brief memoir of my life written for the information of my dear wife and family.
The letters are from John March's brother Theophilus (December 1857), from Edward Jerningham Wakefield (January 1878), and from John Ballance (March 1888).

Bound photocopy of a shipboard diary made on S.S. Northumberland from Gravesend to New Zealand by John Knapton Mawson. The diary stops before the end of the voyage, although log of distance travelled at the end of diary continues until 22 Oct.
Also includes a very incomplete photocopy, to 7 Sept.1879 and a typewritten index.
