The papers of Norman James Grant include photograph albums of service during World War II, a diary and newspaper clippings.

Photographs are of Germany including some of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp. Newspaper clippings cover the controversial 1993 thesis written by Joel Hayward who questioned key assumptions about the Holocaust inflicted on the Jewish people.

The papers of Norman Murray Bell includes those on socialism, pacifism, education, mythology and psychology.

Includes copies of What are we fighting for? (1939), Education for freedom (1921), and Cosmos; a quarterly journal of pacifist thought (1940). Also included is a copy of his Hine-rua-kimoa, or, Maori myths and rites in the light of human reproduction. 1 volume is an incomplete photograph album.
