A large proportion of this collection consists of deeds which relate to the Kaiapoi, Oxford and Rangiora areas and were processed mainly by Edward Clarke, a solicitor in Rangiora. Further deeds relate to the administration of the estate of William Kenneth Macdonald of Orari and processed mainly by either Izard & Loughnan (H H Loughnan as trustee) or E Clarke.
