Handwritten letters by Tony Fomison, Ralph Hotere and Colin McCahon sent to the Robert McDougall Art Gallery in connection with the exhibition 'Christchurch Arts Festival International of Drawings' held at the Gallery 3 March - 1 April 1978. Fomison queries the return of the drawing he submitted, McCahon declines to submit an entry, Hotere describes his submission 'Drawing (KO WAI KOE?)' which won the competition.
